SMS Communication Consent
This page describes how Kingdom collects consent to send SMS messages to patients.
1. Program Description
Kingdom is a telehealth hormone optimization platform serving patients across the United States. We send SMS messages exclusively to patients who have opted in during our appointment scheduling process.
- Appointment reminders
- Treatment updates
- Lab results
- Care instructions related to your active care plan
2. How We Collect Consent
Kingdom uses a two-step consent process during the patient intake flow.
Step 1: Informational Notice On the opening screen of the intake flow, patients are shown a notice stating that by continuing, their information will be stored and they may receive SMS messages from Kingdom. This notice includes a direct link to this SMS Communication Consent page, where patients can review full program details, message frequency, opt-out instructions, and data handling practices.
Step 2: Active Opt-In On the step where the patient's phone number is collected, patients are presented with an unchecked checkbox. Patients must actively select this checkbox to consent to receive SMS messages from Kingdom. The full disclosure language is displayed directly below the checkbox on that screen.
- Consent is never assumed or pre-checked.
- Checking the box is not required to complete scheduling.
- Consent is recorded at the time the patient submits their phone number.
No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.
3. Opt-Out Instructions
To stop receiving SMS messages from Kingdom at any time, reply STOP to any message you receive.
You will receive one confirmation message and no further messages will be sent.
To resume messages, reply START.
